Ready for Tennis In Miami: Sony Ericsson Open

I’m looking forward to the Sony Ericsson Tennis Open! I’m ready to sit in the hot sun, sip on a mojito, cheer on some player I’ve never heard of, snap photos of Roger swinging on a practice court….I’m ready for some tennis in Miami.

The Sony Ericsson Tennis tournament starts in March and features some of the best tennis on the circuit. It’s held at the Crandon Park Tennis Center. If you’ve never been to Crandon Park, you’re in for a treat. The venue gives fans ample opportunities to watch the big time players and see who’s next on the tennis scene.

The Stadium Court has some great seats and this is where the champions play, but I like the outer courts better. At some of the smaller outer courts I’ve seen Tommy Haas, James Blake, Mardy Fish, Gustavo Kuerten, Lisa Raymond and so many more. At the smaller courts you are literally feet from the court. You can hear what the players say. You can see the ball skid off the line. And it’s impressive to see ‘up close and personal’ how good these ATP and WTA players are.

At KnowYourVenue.com we have the best information on the Sony Ericsson Tennis tournament. Find the hotels with shuttles, which courts you shouldn’t miss, where to find the giveaways, good advice on parking and much more.
